Itinerary - Day by Day
Morning: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Meet and greet by your safari guide. Private transfer to your mid-range lodge in Arusha. Afternoon: Check-in and lunch at the lodge. Optional visit to the Arusha Cultural Heritage Centre or a local market. Evening: Dinner at the lodge. Overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge or similar.
Morning: Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2-3 hours). Afternoon: Arrive at the park and check in at the lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive in Tarangire, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Evening: Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge or similar.
Morning: Early breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approx. 3-4 hours). Arrive and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. Afternoon: Picnic lunch in the crater. Continue exploring the crater floor, home to diverse wildlife including lions, rhinos, and hippos. Evening: Ascend from the crater and drive to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge or similar.
Morning: Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to Serengeti National Park with a game drive en route (approx. 3-4 hours). Afternoon: Arrive at Serengeti and check in at the lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti, known for its abundant wildlife. Evening: Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Heritage Camp or similar.
Morning: Early morning game drive in the Serengeti. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Check-out and transfer to the airstrip for a flight back to Arusha. Afternoon: Arrive in Arusha and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or lodge. Optional last-minute shopping or relaxing in a day room (subject to availability). Private transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
